Does anyone have any milsurps they would recommend to find for my collection!
I currently have a mosin 91/30, k31, m1 garand, Mk4. and Mk3 Lee enfields, Svt-40 and a k98k! I am also looking for the rest of the Lee Enfield Family (Jungle Carbine...etc etc)

Noo! i mean. Maybe!!!
i would look for an original and pay up or even an older NR one. the new para ones do look really good. but i would keep that as a last option. if all your other guns are authentic then you want to get an authentic M1.

Fill out your Mosins... Get an M38 and an M44...

They're just a lot of fun to shoot, real fireball generators with barrels that are, really, too short for the ammo they're firing. Still powerful, and accurate, enough to take any game in North America.

Similar story with the No 5 Enfields. Carbine length rifle firing those full powered rounds... It's a sight to be seen, and felt.

Last fall, blowing through cheap surplus ammo, because... Well because why not?

Based on the firearms you've rattled off, it seems as though you're aiming for representative pieces from all the major powers. If that is in fact your goal, it may be fun to go after the sidearms of each nation you have the full length rifle for. So you could accompany your M1 Rifle with a M1911A1, your Lee Enfields with an Inglis Hi Power, your K98 with a P38/German Hi Power and your Mosin with a Tokarev TT-33.

If you've got your heart set on an M1 Carbine, by all means make it happen but most serious collectors shy away from reproduction parts so I'd suggest a standard M1 over the M1A1 paratrooper variation. You can always upgrade down the line should you find an example with the folding stock, but let me warn you, they are not cheap.

Here are a some images of mine. I know of a couple others tucked away in the private collections of some lucky guys here on CGN but I really doubt there are more than a handful of these in the country.

Anyways, best of luck with the collection! Be sure to give us periodic updates when you add new pieces!

If you want a repersentive of every major nation you are missing the following countries
Italy- some sort of Carcano, a M41 or M38 (in 6.5) would be the two easiest to acquire.
France- A M36 is a good option, as would a Lebel-Berthier M16 (or one that has been adapted to the 5rd magazine) as the M36 wasn't completely standard issue when WWII started.
Hungary/Bulgaria- These two countries were very important in WWII but are often forgotten. A M95 in 8x56r would be a easy way to represent them.
Japan- One of the biggest players, A Type 38 or Type 99 are both good options, the Type 99 being less common up here.

You can obviously keep going and adding countries, but this list here adds pretty much all the major players to your collection and most firearms listed are sub 500$ each.

Drooling!, i am going to do the most major powers in WW2 then i am going to branch out after i finish my main powers,

Just for fun, there is such thing as a "jungle carbine" That was a term invented by the surplus dealers in the U.S.. They also ended up in Norway which is not noted for it's "jungles"
