Hi, so I decided to get a GP100. Looked in the EE, nothing. I want .357 stainless 4.25" version.
Ok let's check with supporting dealers. All have it at 875$ (like Wolverine) but Frontier has it for 700$! Same mgr model number.

I have never dealt with Frontier, should I expect all is well and they are just selling it cheaper? What about service?

Thanks, Nic.

hehehe

ya ive seen that a few times, dealers have old stock that they got when the doller was low.
no problems with Frontier, ive purchased many guns from them and not a problem to speak of.

The idea of buying from a shop, paying markup price plus taxes doesn't work for me anymore. What you want will almost always show up here for a lot less if you can be patient. That's the only reason I am able to have a fairly high deal score instead of it saying 10 or 15.

They're a local shop to me, and great to deal with. I can't see why mail order would be any different. Better jump on it, because now anyone who was looking for a GP-100 at a good price knows where to get them.

Yes, old stock is slowly drying up all over.

I still have a few Henry rifles at work that we bought before the dollar tanked.

When it comes time to replace them they WILL go up significantly. The new wholesale cost is more than what I have them listed for retail at the moment, so 100-250 differences on guns in the 600-800 price range will be typical during the (over lap).
