Hi,
Before I list it for sale, I have a question regarding the Mauser I have that was at one time a supposed "Sniper" version. The receiver is drilled and tapped as is the bridge beside the bolt release. I've seen pictures online of period correct scopes mounted in the same position but as one of the holes is drilled through one of the eagle/swastika proof marks I'm doubting the authenticity now.
I bought it locally in the lower mainland from a sponsors store at the same time I purchased my Mosin M1891 (that was incorrectly described/mis-sold to me.)
After I discovered all that, you'll understand my apprehension in believing all that I was told about this rifle. can any of you shed a little light on this so I can sell it with the correct information.
Cheers,
Sean
