Norinco Type 88 sniper?

Interesting looking rifle. From the pics, the QC looks better than the T97.
Can't help you much but here's an old thread on the gun. Apparently there is an importer for the gun.

There were some sold a couple of years back, so some variant of it already has an FRT number.

Yes it is way overpriced its a t97 with a longer barrel ffs aparently 2000 more worth

Yes and a No4 MkI T is just an overpriced Lee Enfield with a crappy scope and mount.

I owned one very nice rifle. anyone who says just an overpriced norc is welcome to there opinion, but from PERSONAL HANDS ON EXPERIANCE mine was exceptional loved it shot very very well. ive also owned a T97 nothing in common with the quality of that rifle

No it's not. These had an FRT even before the old T97A

Definitely a nice rifle.
I hate it's ungainly balance compared to type 97 or AR, but it's the price to pay for accuracy.

I figure its a mostly prone shooting bipod type of rifle so I'm not so concerned about the balance myself.
