What to go for ?

Hi guys /gals, I have about $600 to spend and I was planning to go for a good used black rifle. I am interested in a Norinco AR, but the fact that it is restricted and can be shot at an approved range is a bit of a turn off.

I also looked at the JR Carbine, but they exceed my budget and they dont have iron sights ( I really like the front " A" and rear handle sights

What would you suggest me ?

For 600$ your VERY limited. An AR is your only bet really (but like you said, it is restricted). Other than that your really limited to a keltec sub 2000 and MAYBE a used keltec su16 (basic model). You could also do an sks and bubba the heck out of it. Your budget is just too low really for an NR "black" rifle. 1000$ will provide a few more options but still not many

You're going to have trouble finding a NR black rifle for $600. Maybe a Kel-tec Su16?

I would honestly stretch your budget and maybe get yourself into a windham AR or something. Being restricted isn't the end of the world. And at least now there's less paperwork involved some what...

You can pretty much get into a bare bones windham for that much. Or keep an eye on the EE for something used with low round count. Stay away from NEA.

Watch the EE. Might get an su-16 (nonrestricted) for $700

Finally I went for a Dominion Arms C8 5.56 Nato.
