CZ 858 - When Will They Start Pouring Back In??

you may find it hard pressed to find an importer willing to bring in my cz 58m 858, wolverine lost 100,s of thousands of dollars dude to this when the shipment was seized, marstar had a similar issue.
The crappy 223 units that north sylva was selling and the mircos, seems that evey 2nd owner had to have it send back for rework.
As someone In the biz, I would not touch the cz 58 project. and with the USD up 30% as well as fuel cost and transport, you looking at a min of $1000 for a new import maybe more if they have to use new frames.
bbb

Its kind of funny that many of the CZ sellers are attempting to gouge, while the Swiss Arms guys are mostly selling their rifles at pre-ban prices.

So whats wrong with the csa 858? 1100$ in stock at most sponsor....why pay 2000 for a cz858 USED!?

Do the seller not feel the first degree burn on their lips?

CZ price is going up and up as there seems to be a high demand for them right now! I have one never fired, NIB. if there is appetite for CZ858 at +$2,400.00 I may have to let her go............be a fool not to if someone is waiving that kind of money around. Anything short of that I will keep it ;) Its the second gun I have in the lockup that used to be prohibited........and I don't own a SAN but I am looking ;)

The price isn't going up. Gougers are just asking more money. Nobody in their right mind would pay $2400 for an 858.

In any free market, prices are set buy buyer tolerance not sellers expectations! I don't want to sell my 858 but everything and I mean everyone has a price! If appetite gets near my price I will let it go, but I am not actively selling mine nor wanting to sell. If they start going at SA prices, my personal price limit, that is what I am willing to part with mine for will meet the appetite, mine might make it to the market. Until then, it stays with me ;) And I am glad that nobody in their right mind would pay that.....it means I get to keep mine a while longer.... ;)

The buyers are the ones driving the prices up!
I bet the first guy put his price up just to see what would happen. Lots of suckers I guess

Yeah, I get that. Its just that you said "If the price keeps going up.." which assumes that the price has gone up at all. My point was that just because someone asks a certain amount, doesn't mean sales are happening. My guess is that none of these are actually selling at anything over $1000.

Yah, I paid about that for a Black Special flat top too, about 8 months prior to the ban. The Swiss Arms prices in the EE are quite fair right now.

Based on out-the-door costs when bought, and considering what the Swiss/Canadian exchange will do for new sales, I think they are actually a screaming deal.

According to the guy trying to get $1500 for his on the EE, NEVER AGAIN! Lmao who knows. I understand Wolverine lost a few shipments to the saviours of our streets who seized containers full of fully automatic rifles that only operate in semiauto fashion. I don't know if any importers would want to risk the investment to try again or not. Does anyone know what happened to the seized 858's? Were they kept in Gov't possession, handed off to Wolverine or sent back?

Canada Customs sent them back to Czechoslovakia.

There is one now for sale at $2250.00 LOL! Wonder if and when anyone will bite! Anyone know if the guy selling the 858 @ $1500.00 got anywhere near his asking price?
