He is asking 1000 bux, that was ok when there were none in Canada. But since then lots have flooded the market. I sold mine for 600 which is a little under what i paid for it. I had the follower upgraded with S&J hardware follower as well. Sent it in a JIC plastic mosberg tube with a birdshead pistol grip.


If someone is desperate enough i guess they will pay that, but now there are a lot of 14 inch options. For me for 1000 bucks ill get a Fabarm Pro Forces.


Or did i underestimate the demand and short change myself lol.

People were asking $1500 for theirs before this shipment came in... and I'm sure the asking prices will go up again, as it's been stated that these won't be coming in again. Supply and Demand... Look at the CZ858 for an example, they were sold in bulk and people are asking big money in the EE for them.

Glad I got a factory Mossy shorty. It's on my "Do not sell list".
 
Yeah glad I bought one when I did. Not that I wanna make money, it's just a fantastic gun and the best SBS of the lot.

He raised his price to $1499!!!

Didn't think anyone would buy it at $1000, but good luck to the seller.
 
Oh well. My XS sighted 14" walnut stocked 870P keeps me happy for now.

As for the 14" 590A1 one will pop up on the EE for a good price. So I'll just sit back and wait as I always do. Patience always prevails on the EE.

Don't forget you are competing with the Benelli Supernova 14" that you can get for $899 brand new and Fabarm shorties - we know how good both of these are. Maybe 6 months down the road the 14" Mossy will garner big money in the EE, but seeing as you bumped your ad a few times at $1000, I'd say it wasn't right now.

By the way, I tried the Hogue 12" LOP stock on mine and hated it. Sold it to a guy on the EE and he said the same thing, too cramped. Settled on a Choate stock with a 13.5" LOP, a little shorter than the original stock.
 
I personally don't think you'll see $1,500 14" Mossbergs anytime soon. Even NIB ones. Too many of them out there at this point and there's now plenty of other options available at far lower prices. If those 14" Remington 870 barrels ever decide to show up there will be continued downward pressure in the market.
