I like the tactical look. What do you think? Is is worth dropping the front sight? With my fab defence for end I can’t use the front sight anyways with the Burris FF3 on it. I rarely have to clean that gas tube (requiring removal of top rail and possible requirement to re-zero red dot) if I’m only shooting non corrosive dominion ammo right?

What’s your opinion of the BC tactical one? Is it a bad idea altogether or acceptable in your opinion? I already dumped almost 1600 into this gun with mags. Help me decide...

with the fab defense kit, the shroud will look very nice! But yes you lose your irons, just like you i alao run a red dot on my front, a trijicon rmr.
how much is the shroyd You will also have more weight on the end. the cz858 is really handy because its so light...

Nooooooo... don't do it. I did it on mine a while back, ended up putting the sight back on. Really hated it when the red dot battery died at the beginning of the range trip... I sure wished I had the sight then.

I'd say it's pretty unnecessary. But at the end of the day it's your rifle, and there's nothing wrong with making cosmetic choices. For me its usually trying to match various brands of FDE & Tan bits.

The only issue I'd seriously consider is the loss of a muzzle device. I don't own a rifle without something extra on the end. Depending on your choice muzzle devices allow you to hide flash, reduce rise, soften recoil, deafen your friends, and more! I'd be sad to give them up.
