How to tell if a No 3 Mk1 is Canadian

i just finished restoring a No 3 sporter (not completly because the clip guide was grinded off). anyway when i bought it the guy said it was a canadian issued rifle! is there anyway to know? any markings? its a 1918

C Broad Arrows stamped on the left of the receiver and barrel usually.

BTW...sorry to say, if the clip guide is ground off, the rifle is hopelessly Bubbaed.

If you have a whole set of wood etc....just move it over to a different untouched sporter with matching bolt, barrel, receiver, rear sight etc., passing headspace and a clean, shiny, not dark bore.
