Have you looked at the Warne Grooved Receiver rings for Tikka T3?

I got mine from Clay at Prophet river. They are perfect for what you're trying to do.

If you have a Battue, you will need some seriously high rings, fair warning.

*If* it's a battue, he has to be careful. I have the warne rings I mentioned earlier, and a 1.75-6x33 barely fits on my battle, like no room for a lens cap, so a 40mm objective will need the Warne grooved receiver high rings. The battue rear sight is high, and extends way back.

I'm guessing it's a battue as you only need quick release rings if it's got iron sights, and the most common T3 with irons in the battue.

Should was my word. anyway i mounted a 3-9x40 Leupold European with medium rings from Warne on a 695 Tikka battue.

T3 are maybe made differently.

Were they the Warne rings made for the receiver grooves? That's what I've got, and they sit lower than the same "height name" of weaver-type warne rings.

They are really cool, too.
