I heard it's going to be non-rest so $3k+ likely for the basic HK243... This upgraded version with the adjustable stock and handguard is going to be more.

Also, interesting choice of item to block the serial ;)
same reason why most people block license plate numbers and serial numbers of other privately owned items in pictures on the internet.

If there was no theft, fraud and people would mind their own business there would be no need.

I had a large item for sale on craigslist and I was quite specific in having people come look in person if they wanted more information.
The one time I decide to send detailed pictures and information out including serial numbers so the out of town buyer could verify the item, it cam back to bite me. I was contacted about a month later by someone claiming I scammed them, turns out the pictures and serial numbers I provided were used in a sales scam in another country.

Be careful with what you post on the internet.

Brian - did you look at the said item that covers the serial number or just ran with the comment about covering the serial...

That would still be well under a converted NR ACR so it'll be interesting to see what the pricing will actually be. If the pictures above show the ver. w/ the adjustable stock and handguard, what does the regular stock & handguard look like?

I've seen photos of German troops run them with Hensoldt RSA red dot. If you want magnified optic then perhaps the S TAR would be better since it has adjustable cheek piece but the stock and handguard are interchangeable.

I like the handguard & sights better on the "regular" version, but can already see the need to McGuiver a cheek riser. There really is no reason why it can't be just a tad higher.

It'll all come down to LOP with that fixed stock.

Yup that'll do it nicely.

Again, why not offer it with that low dollar value piece (for them) is something I can't understand. If the user doesn't need it, he takes it off and away he goes. If the user needs it, he has to order it, wait for it.....wait for it....then bend over for the duty fees added to the shipment...and then installs it.

I noticed it was a canadian coin before posting?, still does not change the fact that covering serial numbers and plates is a very good idea
