CZ 455 American synthetic suppressor ready, Canadian source?

Hi all, I am looking for a new rimfire rifle and after playing with an SBR semi auto .22lr I am now going the opposite way and I am looking for a bolt action .22lr.

The model I want to get is the CZ 455 American synthetic with the shorter 16.5" barrel.

it's a shame we can't have suppressors. that thing looks awesome and i'd love to go plinking and make less noise doing it.

The prohibition on suppressors predates the Stupid Antis, who were a product of the gun control movement that began to gain momentum after the 1975 school shooting in Brampton. Of course the ban on moderators should be revisited, especially since the U.K., which has more stringent gun controls than Canada, allows them and encourages their use, even on PCP's and other airguns, with the idea that silenced guns are less of a disturbance.

I wouldn't mind a 16.5 inch pencil barrel on my 455 canadian, currently it sports my 16.5 inch varmint barrel.

Are barrels covered by ITAR regulations, or can one just buy them and bring them out of the USA without problems. I've always wondered where and how people get the lijia barrels out of the USA. Anyway I too would be interested in the 16.5 inch American barrel for the 455.
