Does anyone else with a FAMAE SAF/Mini-SAF find it very unpleasant to shoot? I have the Mini with side folding stock and it is positively uncomfortable as every time I squeeze the trigger, there is a significant amount of either cheek slap or vented gas from blowback. I'm inclined to believe it's the latter due to the way the receiver closes and the fact the gun weighs in at over 5 lbs. My TP9, while a good deal snappier due to the light weight, is definitely more face friendly.
On a positive note, I was able to squeeze off a full 10 rounds from a LAR-15 pistol magazine by holding it up in the SAF mag well. No bolt hold open but a small price to pay for a usable capacity and far more durable material. Milling a catch for the mag release would be next.
