Chinese Type 81, heard they are coming to Canada

Ok I'll clear this s*** storm up the PLA has nothing to do with the the exportation of small arms.
The PLA does however own all those Chinese type56 sks's that we were getting a few years back. The only reason we don't see them anymore is because the PLA raised prices by 300%
I feel like that is the reason that this guy is confused

No I think you're mistaken and he's just an idiot who's trying to stir the pot

T97's, M305 (wood/plastic), shotguns (semi, pump, single, double, mag fed), AR15 variants, bolt actions, rimfires, pistols (various calibers).....yup definitely nothing coming in from China there....

/sarcasm. If you meant new models of firearms, like others have said that is because of time involved with new FRT numbers not an unwillingness to sell by China. Seriously, the firearms lab is so slow they have begun to travel back in time (the 858/SAN reclassification fiasco).

Come on guys, I am just telling the truth, you will be your own judge. Imformation are told from my chiness military friend. The reason is Canadian market is too small to export. Not trying to scare anyone here.
If you like chinese firearms, buy it now.

the RCMP is on hold to see if their boss, CPC, can stay on the thorn for another 4 years.

if you want to see the type 81, well guess u've to vote for CPC

Sorry dude, that is as about as reputable as any other gun counter talk.

China has been importing to Canada for decades, and the gun market is larger now than it ever has been. If we were too small before, we aren't too small now.

there needs to be a service standard at the RCMP lab they should have a set amount of time to make a firearms ruling there should also be an oversight committee that reviews any decisions they make and review and the ability to overule past rulings IE the draganov being an AK variant

The GSG STG44 took 3 years to get an FRT number. It's number is 139822. It was published this month.

Also published this month is the Millenium Designs "Competitor"... a muzzleloader. Its FRT is 154626. As well, the Standard DP12 pump shotgun with FRT 154668. That is 42 FRT numbers apart.

Guess what guns are assigned those 42 FRT numbers. None. None that are published anyways. That is 42 entries waiting examination and those are all recent guns waiting for classification. FRT places assigned, waiting to be completed, but not finished or published.

How many guns do you think are waiting over the last 3 years since the STG44 started??? That is 14846 entries. Some are variations on an AR15 theme, or pistol variants, or other model designations. Simple entries. Others have been vacant for years. And no, every new calibre or barrel length doesn't get a new parent FRT number. New make AND model = new parent number. Those are parent number gaps.

So that is a lot of guns over 3 years. How many gaps? Who knows.

All the deals are done in USD, this results in no savings for anyone in the food chain.

Yup. Just means the Chinese make more of their dollar on their end of the sale, but the importers and later buyers won't see any savings because of it. The prices could stay the same, and the US dollar would just convert into more of the devalued Chinese currency than what the Chinese currency was at before.

Well, my friends works in Jianshe R&D (EMEI) 重庆建设and I have contacts as well related to 北方工业 Norinco, seems your information is wrong. Not only there will be new guns coming to Canada next year depends on RCMP, but also they will providing new modified T97. I also saw the production photos of new T97 flat top assembled in the factory designed for Canada.

And knowing Norinco, they are within the same system of Chinese military system but saying "PLA controls Norinco export" is BS to the max.

PLA have no control to firearm export at all, they are the costumer supplied by Norinco.

For example, this is coming to Canada depends on when RCMP issue FRT
