Why can't I just buy ammo and be happy like everybody else?

Picked up a new to me .220 swift in a rem 700 classic. It came with 3 boxes of factory ammo and 2 bags of new winchester brass. It shoots well with the new burris I put on it. About 3/4" at 150 yards. Now I can't find dies locally or an appropriate powder. I happen to like lee 3 piece die sets and really want to try h380 behind a 52gr speer. I could buy ammo locally but it will be hard and make me cry. I only buy .22lr ammo. I mentally can't bring myself to buy factory ammo. Just can't. Has anyone seen .220 swift dies and h380 anywhere? PM me. Anyone else out there like this?

Maybe Higginson's? They should be able to get both if they don't have them already.

You're not alone. I would cry buying factory loads for that gun too.

Put a WTB on the EE. Lots of people have stuff they're willing to sell but don't necessarily put it up for sale unless someone asks.
It's worked for me.

Haven't heard of x reload. Can't get Higginson online lists to load for me.

Just call Higginson's, it's way easier, they were quick and easy to order from with good prices. Even though shipping on powder is nasty I think I still came out ahead in the end. Btw I ordered 8lbs of powder and 500 bullets.

brewmech's answer. It just ain't the same. Using factory ammo is like buying as suit off the rack. Sort of fits, but not quite.
