SFRC AR-15 Lowers! PRESALE ON NOW!

Their a good deal because they're a good price. It's hard to find quality stripped lowers in Canada for less than $200. As for the Ambi thing, someone else will have to chime in because it's a non issue, for me.

Can someone educate me on why these are a good deal?

What is the difference between forged and billet and what really is a true ambi receiver?

Thanks for helping an AR noob out.

Do a google search for forged vs billet, you will find plenty of information. From a practical point of view, there is negligeable difference in the lower, they are both good.

What are you guys planning on pairing with this lower. I just recently looked at the aero precision m4e1 upper and keymod handguard and am contemplating it. I know for sure I want a free floating handguard for my upper, but that is about it.

Was thinking the 7" psa upper from another co. But just happy to have the lower in hands before election to transfer to the wife for any possible grand fathering. Hopefully shipping out soon

I've a pile of spare parts to put into this. Once it's running, I'll be unloading the old Norc - which I have no complaints about - it's nice to have a gun that you absolutely don't care about damaging. It's served me well - certainly not a safe queen.

As for updates, I read "end of month" back a ways, so we should leave Ryan be at least until then, before bugging him (as I slowly stir my bucket of parts and sigh :))

I wonder has there been a decision made as to what type of finish/coating/anodizing they're going to have, or is that going to be a surprise?

They were sent to anodize last week. They will contact me when they are done...that's all I have at the moment.

I hope the kind of finish is not the same as used on the NEA lowers that you were selling under $100 a while back... That was almost like a sandblasted finish, and completely incompatible with the finish on any of the uppers I've seen (unless the user cerakotes it). Hopefully this anodizing will produce the "normal" AR lower look and feel.

Looking forward to it!
