My 14 pistol roundup review comparison...Anyone interested in seeing the results?

Hey Guys n Gals,
A friend of mine and I are doing a range day in a few weeks, and since we are both "STATS" guys :), we decided to do a roundup review of our collection....err...his collection (his 12, and my 3, 2 of which I purchased here on CGN ;) )

So we will be putting together a review/comparison/rating, on each one. Now before anyone gets their backs up, this will NOT be a Glock, Sig, or Berreta bash fest....NO SIR...this is meant to help/advise/provide anyone with what I think will be valuable information on each one. If anyone is considering buying a new piece, I mean c'mon we ALL contemplate that ONCE in a while right? ;)

I think this will be a valuable read since each these semi-auto handguns we have are quite diverse (from a chinese $200 one, up to a Sig P226 X-5). I will have a list of each one shortly. In addition to this, this will be a fair comparison due to a contrast of firearms experience. I'm a novice shooter, new to the scene, and my friend Dan, is a seasoned experienced shooter with years of experience (military) and civilian. I realize there must be other reviews like this, but a fresh review never hurts right?

Anyway, stay tuned for the list of hardware to be compared, as well as other tidbits of info. But before I waste my time progressing this thread, if anyone is interested in following this, just let me know. Otherwise, I will just consider this a dead issue.

Even if you find it difficult to do a full comparison of all these firearms, getting someone's opinion on the pros/cons of each firearm and rate the 'bang for the buck' I think would be very useful. Good luck and I'll be tuning in!

re your questions;
Yes I know its a big job. My friend is an MP in the Military....he's all about stats ;)
He's sending me the gun inventory tonitght but here's what I have;
- Sig Sauer 1911R BSS Nitron in 45 acp
- Sig Sauer P226 Elite dark 9mm
- Ruger mk ii in 22 cal

- distance, accuracy, trigger, feel, caliber, and other things I can't think of.
We are putting together an excel spread sheet to cover this and put things into perspective
@geoshooter. yes I do realize. my friend has experience in this PLUS has a H U U U G E inventory of ammo ;)

K gotta jet for work. more details to come tonight. I expect to have my friend's inventory tonite.

FYI if anyone would like to see a pic of his inventory, shoot me a pm and I'll email you a pic of what he's got...trust me guys, it's not a couple of pea shooters, I've shot all of his guns before, and when I saw them all for the first time....I thought I'd died n gone to heaven... I had to shoot a pano of his pistol case there were so many LOL from a $200 chinese 9, right up to a top drawer sig x5...no WC though.....sorry :(

Thanks Bob, that's exactly what/why we are doing it. Plus the fact of firing them all and comparing will be a real blast...pardon the pun. ;)
