Well while I sit here and wait to bring mine out to the range for the first time, I thought I would see if any of you guys have one and how you like it or how it shoots or anything about the rifle.

Mine is:
Northern guard 16"
Magpul angled grip
Vortex magnifier
Vortex strike 2 rds
Raptor charge handle
Couple extra Troy rail sections

Any thoughts comments welcome. Unfortunately I can't post pics

I have the troy upper on a spikes lower. Bought the upper from a friend. He has his lower on a noveske upper. Both are solid. That northern guard upper went through a 2 day carbine course this summer. It ran flawless on that spikes lower. No complaints.

That's great to hear! I'm not a big fan of the stock! Actually in all honesty it is butt ugly! (No pun intended) but I have to say it is functional! Lots of room!

Troy were selling these off for $650 early this year in the US as no one wanted them
not sure what the deal was with that.

I saw that they were a Black Friday deal a couple years ago. I bought mine maybe a month ago for I think 1300-1400 off a supporting dealer. I noticed everywhere else was selling it for 1900! Even with the bad dollar right now it was pretty damn expensive.

It is also my first AR. I LOVE the fact it has the Canadian flag on it. That was the deciding factor. After I bought it though I did some research on Troy industries. A lot of our American friends don't like Troy because they hired some sniper that killed a innocent during some stand off. Anyways I like it and can't wait to throw some metal!
