Has anyone ordered Tavor spare parts from North Sylva?

I originally called them on Aug 4. I was told they were too busy to answer my call and I was asked to send my spare parts request to Jon.
I sent the email on Aug 5. No reply. I resent the email again on Aug 16. I still have not heard anything.
What are your experience with North Sylva when it comes to Tavor spare parts?
This was what I was looking for:

Spring on the Firing Pin 2 bent
00.704.3200 Both carrier guide rod 1 Nicks on the rod


All the part number is from the Tavor Armorer’s Manual (April 2007).
 
i use brownells, so should you, they have tavor parts but not all of them... maybe more in the future
north sylva is not interested in making money
 
I just ordered the parts kit from Brownell it only took 4 days to deliver I was surprised because it comes from the states and goes through customs.

When it takes a Canada Post 9-10 days plus not actually delivering it to your house but telling me to go pick it up the next day after that when I order something using 3 day express post from BC or even within Alberta. You call them on it going WTF guys I paid for 3 day shipping its been the full week plus now blew the weekend I planned on using it on and they just say were sorry we suck but were keeping your money tho but thanks for using us ...................

I swear with Canada Post its like ordering pizza paying for delivery then having them tell you to come pick it up hours later but they still charge you for delivery.
 
I have ordered from north sylva, you have to call them.. And get ready to overpay by 80% of what IWI usa charges FYI...

This is why I ordered my spare bolt kit from Brownells instead.
 
I have talked with them only once after never receiving a response to my emails. Rudeness and excuses assaulted my ears. I will never (knowingly) deal with them again.

I get the distinct impression that they only care about selling barcodes by the skid. Warranty and spare parts gives them no great profit so they don't seem to care.

I would go the Brownells route, as I have a feeling that you are wasting your time with N. S.
 
North Sylvia seems hit and miss.

I emailed them about a replacement ISSC part and got a reply the next day. I emailed them about some Walther parts on the 9th of august and haven't heard anything back and it's been two weeks.
 
North Sylva is VERY busy and didn't intend/doesn't want to deal directly with small individuals, only gun shops and other larger entities.

I have been in touch with Jon alot this summer pricing out various items getting ready to make an order. I have sent email after email that go un answered for weeks, so I have started sending an email, and following up the next day with a phone call. That usually garnishes a email back by the end of the next day.

By all means get the firing pins and spare bolt parts kit from brownells, to put together and purchase the same $50usd kit here will cost you $190cad from NS. The firing pin at brownells is $20usd and at NS it is $80cad.

But for all other parts it looks like NS may be our only hope.

i just wish brownells could sell us a tavor bolt priced at 98$ usd

I've had a similar experience to most here, terrible customer service (rudness and excuses). Would not reccomend this business to anyone looking for Tavor spare parts. Probably the worst experience I've ever had ordering from any vendor online.

Unfortunately NS has a monopoly on importing all IWI Israel parts to Canada.

The only way we get parts not brought in through NS is if you buy the few parts you can through Brownells.

Maybe someone should talk to IWI about this.
Honestly this is ridiculous, straight out of a Dilbert comic.

NS: Dont bother me you little insignificant person. I'm not here to make money off a 20$ part.

you can also insert "csa vz" parts in there too.
i am still waiting for their response for a few small bits

NS only deal with actual LGS,they dont give a toss about anyone else
 
Thats why I started the ball rolling with Irunguns and IWI US. Cut the middle man. When we are allower US SAR's I will be buying them instead of TAR's, they are cheaper and have qd sling mounts factory.

Sure it will need rebarreling but that gives you option to get the barrel and barrel length you want for the same end price as the Tavs NS brings in.
