AR180B Is this a 1 MOA (or close to) or MOBG Rifle

Hi,

I am about to make a decision on the purchase of one of these (just because it is NR) and am looking for honest opinions from those with some extensive trigger time behind the 180B.

Is this more of a MOBG rifle or can you expect close to 1 MOA from it?

Web searches seem to show varying degrees of accuracy from sub 1" (which I have a hard time believing although would be pleasantly surprised if it were true) to 4-5" at 100.

I know this is not going to be a sub MOA poodle shooter but I really don't want to shell out funds for a 4-5 MOA rifle.

Honest evaluations from experienced 180B users would be greatly appreciated.

Personally the only NR semi autos that have excellent accuracy potential are the ACR, M14, and Modern Hunter. Everything else is designed to be MoBG.

One of my favorite rifles.
I'm going with 1.5-3.5 moa depending what ammo you're using.
I prefer it with just the irons and can hit gongs at 500 yards with AE black box 55gr fmj. Not every shot but often enough to be fun.
If you want precision go somewhere else but if battle rifle accuracy is good enough you'll love it.

Swiss Arms shoots 1.5" - 2" @ 100m. This is in reality though, so its usually not good enough for 500 yard headshots on the internet.

I understand moa just fine, and giant melons as well Also you need a .25 moa rifle to make consistent hits.....on cgn

You could hang on until ATRS releases their MV NR semi. Hopefully it'll be sometime this year.

Your head is not 10 inches wide and then there's the wind.

It doesn't need to be 10 inches wide, we're talking about ovals, not squares, and the wind is about calibre, projectile, velocity and ballistic co-efficient.

but what do I know, I'm a handgun guy.
