TRG 22.

Just changed the stock to the KRG Folder and using the Sphur Mount. Otherwise, bipod and brake are original Sako. I hope this helps your project.

It's one of the best changes I've made to the rifle. I remove the bolt whenever I put the rifle in a case so being able to remove the cheek piece by hand is very convenient. You can order any size you need down to the mm, and they come in green too. Cost me about $300 for the cheek and LOP with all the hardware to my door. Install takes 5 minutes without instructions. It also has the benefit of looking pretty cool. If you're interested PM me I'll send Terje's contact info.

That looks really nice! Is it just a spacer or can you adjust the cheekpiece up and down?

TRG 22 with Near base and mount, Accu-shot spigot and Terje cheek and LOP spacers.

How much disassembly do you need to do to install the accu-shot spigot?

I'm running an MPOD on my TRG and I'm debating whether to get the spigot & bipod or whether to get a tripod.

The entire rifle needs to be disassembled, wasn't a big deal for me as I wanted to take it all apart when I got it anyways. If you're going to run any bipod I would recommend it, the rifle feels much more stable with it closer to the barrel and further forward. I can't comment on using a tripod instead of a bipod but I have seen it done and there are tripods out there that have that amount of versatility, let us know how it works out if you go that direction.

Ferris - The bolts are a bit tough to loosen on that bracket but it's not that difficult to do. If by metal insert you mean the anschutz rail there is no need to remove it at all, if you mean separating the forearm from the chassis it's no problem just 2 bolts to get it off.

Shabazz, thank a lot for the reply.

I meant removing the 2 big flat head screws that are holding the side bracket that hangs at barrel height. There is a small metal insert that locks the side bracket in place... was it hard to remove?

Cheers

With the right screwdriver it will come off, takes quite a bit of force though. I hope I answered your question.

Yes thanks.

heheh another quick question... on the butstock, seems like you have flushcups... Did you removed the 2 HK style sling attachements?

Actually that's how my rifle came, I think only the more expensive models come with the extra hardware. You should be able to remove those hooks and have flush cups, don't ask me how though.
