I wondering what the collective experience has been out there with LRX bullets and preferred jump. I know each rifle has its own particular preferences but I am wondering if there seems to a more predictive pattern with the LRX. I know Barnes suggests .05" as a start for TSX/TTSX but wonder if that holds the same for LRX. Just an impression, but it kind of looks like there is more bearing surface on LRX bullets than TSX/TTSX so should maybe expect something different. I could be out to lunch on that. What have you folks out there found seems to work best? Comments?

Of course, your rifle itself may be the determining factor as to bullet "jump" to the lands.

In my experience with the LRX, I have successfully used the same jump as I use with the TTSX [7x57, 280 Rem, 30-06, 308 Norma Mag.]

This is usually somewhere close to Barnes' recommendation of .050"

You will need to experiment a bit to find out how your rifle responds. Regards, Dave.

That is my experience as well.
