Dedicated M14 (M305, SOCOM) Chamber Safety Flag prototype (CF1)

I like it!

I also like that a Blackfeather RS is used

I shared your video in a few key places...

EDIT:

Is it possible to shape the flag to turn 90 degrees down just past the op rod?

This would make it more compact & provide greater visibility.

Thank you H2O MAN and thanks for sharing the video. :)

Yah, I'll be doing the (gun case/bag friendly) 90 degree version - CF2 - as that definitely would be more (all-around) practical chamber safety flag. Thanks for reinforcing that concept.

I didn't know we could flog our wares without the admins asking for you to become a "sponsor", at least that's what I was told when I tried to sell my bolt grease nipples...at cost....to help out....

Nobody is "flogging" anyone's "wares". Like the video says, it is a "3D PRINTED PROOF OF CONCEPT". Plus, I have already said this in one of the shotgun posts, that if something were to come of my prototypes I would set something up with CGN.

In the meantime, if you own a Dominion Arms JW-83 (JW-87) you are welcome to download STL files of the various shotgun foregrips from Thingiverse, for free, and either 3D print them or machine them at your convenience.

You can download the open-source STL file from Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:978725, and 3D print it, for free.

Nice little chamber thingy and good on you for giving the design away for free. But..............

I just checked the price of 3D printers !!!! Wont be getting one of them anytime soon.
It would be cheaper to hire a Mexican to stand by your gun and warn people plus he could change targets make coffee and clean guns etc

Try a service like Shapeways

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...LMFAO...............Your gonna get us banned.

Sorry OP :(

But really, can you just get this stuff printed up Town, like getting copies made at Staples.
I should get out more if thats the case.
Never saw the likes of it.

I wish more shooters knew what a safety flag was. I find the commonly available designs work great on the M14 with the exception of the AR15 flags.
