Lube before sizing

Does anyone lube before sizing on the lee dies as per instructions? I plan on powder coating so I don't want lube on the bullets. Thanks

Size after you PC. You may need to polish the die, the bullets should come out polished looking from the die. The time PC takes sure turned me off it except in special situations.

A friend of mine swears by wd-40 for sizing lube.... Sprays it on, runs them through the die. He coats them with mule snot.

Seems to me you could lube the boolits with WD, size, degrease with thinner or varsol, then powder coat....

Lube no, the PC won't stick properly. Size after PC with no other lube.

I size after powder coating, no issues what so ever.

PAM cooking spray will work in a pinch for lubing bullets (for running through the sizing die). Perhaps a guy could do that, and give them a quick swish in soapy water and let dry. I'm not sure how fussy powder coating is.

Thanks had a brain fart I knew you had to powdercoat first before sizing. I just got excited that my sizing die finally showed up. Now to the 500 bullets in the garage....
