I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of a target scope from a fellow CGNer.
Plan to use this scope for casual target work and accuracy testing on several firearms so it will be swapped back and forth fairly often. If the mounting bases on each rifle is of the picatinny style then in theory I should be able to leave the rings on the scope and swap it between rifles, (obviously, as long as the clearance between the objective and barrel is sufficient for each rifle).
Was thinking of the Burris Zee Rings, (perhaps the quick detach version). This giving the option of MOA inserts if I should ever want to go longer distances.
Not sure of my logic is sound or if there are other offering to consider.
Would appreciate any advice by others who may have a similiar setup.
