I'll never understand the need by some to give these cutesy names on forums. And it's not just guns. On car forums, some people will refer to a distributor as a 'dizzy'. Why? If you want a shorter word, just use distrib. or distr. or something like that - we know the context and can figure it out. But yeah, Winny, Remmy, shotty, etc. is just lame.
