It's 1949 sks with correct spiked bayo. I don't see them every day. Can't comment on refurb or non refurb with only one poor pic. Rifle is worth only as much as a buyer ready to pay. Why not $700? I have seen twice more expensive sks'es.

Its a collector item, not a shooter. Its a bit over the top on the price for Canada, but someone will want it. I would want to examine it myself before I dished out 700 bucks.

Yup, if it is what what they say, its actually a good deal. However that whole copy cat finish thing is offputting! Is it humped?

An original non refurbished 49 would have the slender foregrip on the stock and smaller front stock ferrule. This has the later thicker forend grip thus stock has been replaced at the very least. Still a nice looking refurbished 49. But would have to see detailed pictures to really evaluate. That is just what I can see from one small picture.

If a dealer is selling a sks for 700$ people are wiling to pay this huge price.
Try to sell it on EE the same sks for 600$....will stay on EE unsold forever.

Yes, I know it was a Chinese SKS-D (detachable mag) but I could never see paying that kind of money. Oh well, someone did though.

Looks like the wrong take down lever for the recoil spring housing too. It is refurbished for sure.
