M14E2 replica on Forgotten Weapons

I'll be spending some time on the range with my Treeline E2 this morning

Can you name that rather nice rifle sling please??

Last one of these I saw was a 12-3. No idea when the barrelled action was installed in the stock, or if it was imported that way.

As 45ACPKing & Brutus mentioned, it came from TreelineM14. Still available!
They also sell a rubber buttpad that fits the E2 stock & a front rail that covers
the spot where the (unobtainable) forward grip would normally go.
Don't you want to know where I got the E2 comp & sling? ;-)

Comp I have....the two hook sling no.

The folding grip is a true find indeed!

Please inform the uninformed masses. ;)

Wish I could :) From what I know this rifle was put together like this some time in the 70s, so it's not one of treeline's recent stocks. I think it would have made a better feature on Forgotten Weapons since it's an AR Sales receiver too...

I passed on that gun at a small Chilliwack gun show about 5 years ago. I think it was around $2000

Haha, me two LOL
Actually had a deal worked out for 1600 and the guy bailed. Next thing I know it's 2grand at the gun show. It "does" look/sound like the same rifle

She is a beauty Kotkotofeich
I've been planning a special build for my E2 stock (s) but have been too damn busy to pick up my M14 tools in a few months now.
Nice rifles fellas

Glad you guys passed - there'd be no way of prying it out of you today :p

Hooded rear aperture too. Nice.
The only guy selling E2 stuff in the Vancouver area back then (before their recent renaissance anyway)
was CGN'er Touch157. I got my first E2 stock from him. I bet he still has a bunch of stuff.
He was ahead of the curve! Thanks Vic!

There were others, but ya, Touch157 has amazed me many times pulling really cool and obscure unobtainium from the corners of his "toy" room. Been a while since I've visited and haven't seen him around these parts in a while...
