I aquired this old Remington 810, was pretty bored so decided to give it a workover. Most guys probably would have tossed it.
Bead blasted off the rust then put it in the lathe and took a rough cut file to it, then 80 grit through 2000 grit emery, finished barrel with a hard felt wheel and Brownells 555 white.
A lot of careful hand work to remove pitting and save the factory engraving.
Not quite there yet, a few more hours of polishing needed.

Now for the bluing!
