Embracing my Fudd Heritage

Or send it to Douglas.
Seems he's a tad short of them 270's.

Y'all can send me all the 270s ya like.......................I can always use more tomato stakes..............Is 270 Fuddish? I guess it probably is in a 740/760 platform.................Fuddish AND useless, hooda thunk it ?

That's some creative editing, there Hoyt..........Don't be too hard on that young guy, now, he just doesn't have as good a grasp on the English language, as it applies to Fudds, as the rest of us...........He needs to realize that it can be used an adjective as well as a noun. Fudd, Fuddish, Fuddly etc etc etc.

We need to go back to first principles. Fudd was defined by our forefather Elmer was it not?

Double barrel 12 gauge shotgun with buckshot.

"Plains Hunters" in his day might use something in thirdy-thirdy, ideally a Win M94.

Second generation Fudds would buy a Rem Pump and if an advanced shooter, mount some high power optics such as a fixed 4X.

You're right! Walnut has a much higher public safety factor than black. Therefore ...... Black = Banned.

Wood just looks nicer too

My 760 has a 4x Leupold on it. Not sure about the "advanced shooter" status though.

More than enough magnification to make those running 460 yards (as reported) shots though, and with the 760 you can get a magazine's worth of ammo out the door right fast!

I use heavy round nosed bullets cuz I can shoot through trees and still hit running deer.

You're nawt a true Fuddlinsky until you've mastered the reek-oh-shay effect.
Think pool table banks.

Nutt'in like a kerrr-ziiiiing sound before the flop.

Too bad it's 30-06 I have what I believe is the right clip for it here but is says 308 on it and no rifle to use it in. Found it in a box of odds and ends at a auction. it was still full of ammo when I found it. Nice rifle would love to have one myself especially if my dad had owned it first.

my hunting buddy, at the time, found a mag in the bush, loaded, with 308, mag fits my 7600 with 30-06, perfectly.

The great benefit of living in a "Fudd-rich" environment... you never run out of "boollits" and "clips..."

Here's a little contest to see who has the FUDD in a bad way.

What is this little item that no FUDD should/could be without?

Special Weaver two screw ring wrentch.

Oh, a pencil too.
The 'rayser should be cut awff and that end sharpened as well.
