HELP needed - Norinco interchangable parts - Remington 870

Hopefully this is the right place for my thread...

I'm looking to source an extractor for the Norinco 'Homeland Security' 780. Its a clone of the Rem 870 but 'mostly' not interchangable with parts. Searching online has given both affirmative and negative interchangability of the extractor and firing pin.

To all you owners and gunsmiths out there....will a Rem 870 extractor fit the Norc 780?

All help and information appreciated...as is offers of a cheap extractor ;)

I think that was done for dramztic flair...or perhaps he had a very problematic one. Mine was nothing but reliable until the extractor went missing so I wouldn't want to go do somehing that drastic. Maintainance is the key to any firearm...look after them and they should lok after you.
I don't doubt that quality control might have been lacking but i'm pretty sure many more people were happy with them than those that weren't. :)
