Have these arrived in Canada yet? Have you handled/shot one?

Looking for something basic and the reviews South of the border seem pretty good.

I bought one in 308 around the new year. At first it would print a couple good ones and then throw a flier to an inch and a half or so. I noticed the floppy for end of the stock was laid to one side a bit touching the barrel. I looked it up and found others that had experienced the same. What I came up with was fill the hollow with epoxy resin to stiffen it and opened it up for a good 1/8 inch free float with sand paper. The little carbine shoots well less than MOA now with amax and ttsx. I think they may have improved the stock from the first run.

I have a RAR 243 compact and as nomad 68 said they are accurate.
Mine is the standard compact not the all weather.
I really like it and will be using it for deer this season.
Yes the 257 Roberts will come along just for back up this year.

I have one in 7mm-08, doesn't like hornady superformance ammo, 4" was the best but federal fusion 140gr can put 2 shots in a 1" hole with the 3rd shot a inch or 2 off, pretty good out of a cold barrel, rifle is very loud, and kicks a little

I don't own the compact, just an RAR in .270 and found the same thing. Great groups with my reloads, but the 4th would be a flyer, spreading my groups to about 1.75" (still perfectly fine for deer). I opened up the stock at the fore-end, but I may try the epoxy tip. Thx!

Any particular brand?

@ Salty The rifle sits in a bedding block. Did you check the torque settings and ensure there was no debris preventing a solid contact between blocks and barreled action?
