What style choke tubes interchange with the Grizzly?
Mine has the Modified that it came with, I'm looking to swap it out to try a different one.
Also, has anyone shot slugs with a Modified choke?

Resurrecting this one as I finally got a 12.5" DA barrel that is threaded.

When I removed it and looked at the choke I immediately thought my spare set of chokes from a 12g Turkish gun would fit...and they did.

These Turkish chokes are exactly like my 20g Turkish ckokes, which I previously researched as being Invector copies. Often branded as Carlson.

I've still got to clean it up, but I installed the Turkish full choke and lined up the DA Mod and Turkish Cyl choke beside it.
Note the notches indicated choke level.

I have a 12.5 threaded coming my way in the mail as well - would invector plus choke tubes work? I have a set for my Sx3. I guess I don't know the difference between invector and plus - is the threading different?

invector plus wont work

I used Mossberg chokes on mine, fit perfect

Was it the older runs of 12.5 Grizzlies that were threaded for chokes or do the latest batch come with them? I just bought my wife a 12.5" grizzly with the ghost ring sights, if it came threaded for chokes that would be a bonus.

I don't think they do - which is unfortunate in the extreme.

Well I'm picking it up tomorrow so we shall see, I hear the new batch had the metal trigger guard so maybe I'll get lucky and have it threaded for chokes.
I heard about the metal trigger guard too. Makes me want to pick up a third!
Except, I'm putting together an 870 currently with this new DA barrel I got, so that's plenty for now.

Got the wife's 12.5" grizzly today, pretty cool. Tiny little thing compared to my 20" barrelled Fabarm pump, not threaded for chokes but it's got a metal trigger guard. Pretty smooth action for a budget 12g, can't wait to put some rounds through it. I really think I'm going to like the ghost ring sights, might have to get myself a grizzly in the new year.
