Just passing it along, seems like a good price?

Definitely fair price. Good deal for a project gun....new grips, refinish, trigger job, etc.

Although if you compare these with newer generation PT99s, they seem to have a shorter trigger pull. Look at how further back the trigger is compared to this one for example. Both in uncocked position.

Looked at these and thought one looked good, the other looked kinda rough, I love my p99, I don't usually use the DA pull, but the SA is far from heavy. Grips are tough to source up here, I replaced the wood ones that came with mine. Took a while to get proper mags too but marstar still has some,

Not sure how good $395 for a price is when a brand new girsan is $475

Also looking at the grips it looks like neither of these have a decocker?

This one cost me $375 to the door, put a new reset spring and recoil spring and haven't had any issues at all.

I see SFRC sells one model for $469.90, that's just $70 more than a used Taurus.
As I understand the Girsan takes readily available berretta parts, on the other hand if you need something for that beat up Taurus you are so out of luck.
You don't need a PhD to comprehend which one is the better deal.

who sells them?

I agree, even owning a Taurus, besides mags grips and safety, lots of parts are still interchangeable with berretta.
