Per title, anyone using their Lubriplate 130-A on an M15 or other semi-auto rifle?

Also, anyone else cutting the viscosity of 130-A with a traditional gun oil?

Lots of people do. But why for the M14 when any good quality wheel bearing grease will do.

Because after a short period on the parts a thin coat of lubriplate 130A becomes almost invisible more like a wax and loses its tackiness while retaining its lubricity. It does not attract and hold dirt and debris like traditional grease does. Cut the bristles short on a stiff paint brush the width of the oprod track and applying it is easy and a lot less messy than wheel bearing grease. Not to mention it is spec'd by the US Military as the correct grease for M14 rifles. Any grease will make the parts slippery it just does it better than most others.

Only if this counts: Got mine handed to me by the CDN postman after I purchased it in cyberspace from Brownells. Fortunately, it'll be of value until 01/2025.

I tried to add this to a Brownells order a while ago, and it wouldn't go through. Something to do with hazardous goods?
