Henry Mares Leg...long stock?

Does anyone know if there are any aftermarket long stock (standard size) available for this firearm? If so, please advise.

Have you contacted the manufacturer about a replacement rifle stock? Not aftermarket, but perhaps an option.

I tried to source one for a friend, Henry in the states sells them, I emailed and was referred to the Canadian distributor never got a response but I recall they were about $270.

I ordered mine from Henry had it delivered to my brother in Minnesota the week before he was coming to visit. $110 + exchange. Fyi if you call them do not tell them its for a mares leg. They will refuse to sell you one because its illegal to put a full stock on a mares leg in the states without the proper paper work. Had to hang up and call back the next day and talk to someone else lol.

I thought I'd read on this site that Shooters Choice in Calgary had a duplicating machine now. They many be able to mill one for you.

Boyd's may not list every stock item on their site. Call Boyds, that's how I got the stock.

Be careful as it is illegal for a non-US citizen to do this as it is regulated by the US state department

I put a Winchester 1894 stock on my Mare's Leg. Fits like a glove. Got it off of EE for $100.

Exactly what part is illegal? The ordering, the sending it to my brother, the him bringing it over or me putting it on my mares leg?

Ya pretty sure you dont need a license for a piece of wood. Especially since he had it in his carry on and no seemed to care.
