Gun shops in Maritimes

I can recommend whole heartedly my own gun shop, The Gun Dealer , in McAdam nb. They claim to have the largest retail display in the country. That aside, they have a very knowledgeable staff that are fantastic in person.

The Gun Dealer is probably the highlight of the "non big box" I've been to. Lots of selection and some more unique guns typically only found online.

Green Diamond in Moncton and Miramichi NB.

ProNature in Miramichi.

Moncton also has a Cabelas, and a Bass pro that will be open around November.

We have a new Cabelas in Moncton. Nice store but when you've been in one you've been in them all.

I much prefer to deal with the Gun Dealer in McAdam. Great selection, prices and people. I will continue to spend my $$ there. it's well worth the stop.

Made a trip to N.B. last weekend, and had a look in Cabeles on the way home.
First time for me, wall to wall with gear. Expect most of there sales are in clothing and such. Expect to bump into a shopping cart or X2!

Great gun shop that can do it all. More than likley charge you the postage price for shipping as apposed to others...

For NB The Gun Dealer is a worth a stop but it is a bit out of the way. I live 10 min from Lequille Country Store so it gets my vote for NS, plus they have a distillery!

Another vote...Be surprised what you will see in that little store.

People will say if your in Halifax or Dartmouth, Army Navy or Better Buy Sports but theyre nothing but cheap accessories, Nothing special stores.

I buy lots of stuff over the phone at the Gun Dealer after viewing their website. Never a problem.

I think the Gun Dealer is the best for guns and shooting stuff. Cabelas was a big disappointment, poor selection in store and A LOT OF EMPTY SHELVES in reloading components. At least the staff at the Gun Dealer usually know what you are asking about as opposed to Cabelas.

I went into Cabelas asking about the sig 9mm conversion kit and was told there was no such thing...lol
The gun Dealer has my vote, the staff knows their stuff and are in no rush, spent a good hour there with my wife looking at hand guns, I think she touched them all trying to find one that "fit" her. Awesome guys!

In NB it is the Gun Dealer large store,there are smaller ones on the MIramichi that were mentioned on the upper posts,and don't forget Cabelas in Moncton.Good Luck in the Maritimes.
