BRNO Narodni Podnik 7x57 Mauser

Just a personal preference on my part. I like a bigger tab for my thumb and like them to lock the bolt down. I am actually more used to them on the other side. (yes, I do like Winchesters)

What don't you like about the double trigger? Not trying to hassle you to conform to how I like things, just curious. I think being able to turn it into a hair trigger is really cool myself. I'm just wanting to see your perspective.

For myself, just using the single trigger (i.e. not setting the second trigger) has typically meant a long, heavy pull. Having two triggers is slower to utilize (a factory with how/where/what I hunt) and means that one of the triggers is either too long a LOP for me, or too short.
I like things simple, a double trigger offers me no advantage over a good single trigger. I also think a single trigger gives a cleaner look, fwiw. All just personal preferences.

I get all that and it really makes sense but I just find the double set really cool and kind of unique.

There is no doubt those Brno rifles look very good, definite European styling and they are a really nice action. I like them a lot and have had at least 4 of them. (maybe 5!) I also like the earlier Brno rimfires, the #1, 2 and #5s. Really nice little rifles and a perfect compliment to the small ring 21/22 models.
