Henry Mares Leg...long stock?

Call epps. I did 2 years ago and placed an order for a henry big boy stock, it was back ordered and then problems with sully but I wasn't in a rush. Guess what? 2 full years later and it showed up on Monday! What a pleasant surprise, they might have gotten a couple more in with my order.

Ya pretty sure you dont need a license for a piece of wood. Especially since he had it in his carry on and no seemed to care.

I believe in the U.S. It was against the law in some or all states to put a full size butt stock on the ranch hand style levers, this was because it was modifying the state or status of the rifle (rifle to handgun or vise versa) or something similar, and I believe the manufacturers carried some liability in supporting that type of modification.

This is just my recollection, have a search on American forums you may find in way off but I believe that was the case.

Edit: if a piece of wood is a gunpart, it still falls under ITAR, just there is some exemptions, but companies like Boyd's have had to do some paperwork, I wouldn't recommend bringing rifle stocks across the border

Didn't think stocks were illegal to ship out of US.

Stocks are gun parts. They are legal to export, subject to the export restrictions.

A stock is a piece of wood But it is also a gun part. Your brother was lucky.

Please review the CGN policy respecting export of controlled items out of the US.

So you are saying that the Big Boy stock will fit the Mares Leg's action?
