Not really my place to say what everyone "thinks", but saying everyone wounds game often, is painting with a big brush. Why do you suppose you wound so much game?
I don't know... I'm not a hunter or a fisherman... but I've seen first hand animals getting wounded... I've seen first hand the fish getting smashed repeatedly in the head... I've never heard a hunter tell me he has a perfect record instakill history... tracking your prey after you shoot it is a skill for a reason... because it happens often. I went duck hunting once... out of the 30 ducks... maybe half were dead when we picked them up... the other half were "suffering" and I had to decapitate them... it haunts me personally and why I have had doubts about shooting "bambi", but I worked for my meat, they lived a good life it seems, and I fed my family. It's just how it goes... why hide the hard work that goes into hunting? I appreciate those that kill the animals I eat. Even if I don't agree with how some of the animals are treated... I like meat... I either need to man up and go kill my own meat, or have someone else do it for me...
I can only imagine that those that are constantly butchering and executing animals are completely desensitized to it... yet we hide them and when they do come up, we call them monsters for doing the job no one else wants to do...
