I originally wanted the USMC OKC3S but the handle is too long to fit the lug. I didn't want to add a spacer that disables the ball-detent locking system on the nut so I opted of the OKC10 "tanto" bayonet for my 590. I really like how the bayonet scabbard is MOLLE.

I got my UAE M7 bayonet yesterday. I just got a chance to fit it. It needed a little sanding around the ring, but it fits very tight and locks in very nicely. It won't (shouldn't) come off during firing.

Of course, it's just for show. Although, I do feel the urge to stab a watermelon and let go with some 00 buckshot!

Looks good... now you have to shoot and see if it holds it's place.

I wonder how hard it would be for somebody to make a magazine cap that was longer for the use of the marine bayonet , kind of like a mag ext but not really .

Yes, looks great! The m7 is what Mossberg used to fit the 590 so it fits right! Unlike the m9 that can be loose and fall off when firing
