Carbon Fiber barrels?

Hello there. I was wondering if any body might know where to find carbon fiber barrels for sale? I've done the search but the only thing that popped up in Canada, was ATRS. And they have no price list. I'm thinking about one for a rem 700. And , is the only benefit of a carbon barrel, the weight savings?.. Thanks

The only benefits I've read are weight, barrel temp, and barrel life.

I've inquired with ATRS about the Proof barrels, the blanks run $1600.

LOL, I'm more interested in stores that sell these , than what they can do. That link you posted didn't appear to have any stores that sell these barrels, that I know of.

Yes, and as I said in my opening post, I know ATRS ,sells these barrels. I'm just trying to find out if there is anywhere else to buy them. Google only shows US stores. Not that I'm not considering ATRS , but I'd like to find some options.

I have heard that Proof Research barrels can also be had from Bighorn sales but I haven't followed that up.

Our exchange rate is really putting a damper on things like these as it drives up the cost here.

Better have two years for Fierce... Better of going with a blank from Bighorn sales and using the smith of your choice.

Two years is a stretch.. I'll call fierce on Monday and Big Horn on the 24th , when they reopen.

If you decide to change your mind and go with Bartlien , then check out the Chou Bros site . I picked up a 26.5" Heavy Palma 30 cal barrel from them for my current build
