Looks like they are going to make a Gen 2 with an adjustable GB? HKPARTS is the POC. Gotta love FA, and a DIAS, :)

Well after seeing one used on John Wick, just wondering if anyone has one? or are they G2G? Mentioning Titan or TB down south causes a lot of sh*t on many forums, LOL.

Maybe this can "spark" some interest??? if not, no worries it's a good clip, :ar15:

I'll admit, lots of action, but I still can't stand the magazine of infinite ammo that I just can't seem to find in the shop... ;)

I believe there was a site sponsor who actually had some of Titan's wares for sale at one time as well.... Maybe OST?

Anyone wanna guess what the muzzle device is on the Coharie Arms CA-415 he is using? I was thinking AAC Blackout, but it looks a bit different?

Well I knew that was going to come up. Actually he's had a few companies, however I don't think he was part of the manufacturing process at Titan? I know he was selling there product.
From what I've read Titan was a good manufacturer, and was using the HK TDP to make the upper, all the politics aside, I'm just interested in the quality and performance of the upper, that's all.

Don't mean to sidetrack your thread but its probably one of the most realistic gunplay movies out there for reloads in 90% on the scenes, specifically pistols. Love this movie lol.

Here are some “facts” about OUR experience with M4’s on the range.

– Some of our M4’s have well over 200,000 rounds down range. Barrels have been replaced, gas tubes have been replaced, BCG’s have been replaced but what sets it apart from the AK47’s is that upper and lower receivers continue to function. AK’s get to about the 100,000+ round count and rails on the receiver will start to crack. It’s an easy fix with tig welding but they crack. We have yet to lose an upper or lower receiver from cracking.

– We get about 20,000 rounds out of bolts before we start experiencing issues. The headspace gauge will start getting closing on NO-GO but not close on field. We will lose a lug on the bolt. The bolt will start skipping over rounds in the magazine and fail to insert a round. We use LMT and Daniel Defense bolts and some will actually go longer but at about 20,000 rounds is when we will start to see issues appear.

– Gas tubes will erode away at the FSB after 12+ months

– Charging handles will “stretch” allowing the locking lever and spring to fly out

– Hammer pins and disconnectors on the 8.5″ full-auto’s will break after approximately 4,000-5,000 rounds regardless of the buffer weight

– We have yet to lose a single flash hider as compared to muzzle brakes on an AK-47. The muzzle brakes will literally split in half, looking a like bird with his beak open and go flying down range.

– We no longer use ANY piston conversions or factory pistons guns with the exception of the HK-416 “knock-off” TDI upper. I purchased a FACTORY brand-new MR556 and it started keyholing after only 10,000 rounds. I was SO pissed because I spent all that money on the gun and it couldn’t last 10,000 rounds. I had barrels from before we even opened the range with 1,000’s of rounds on them from J&T Distributing (chrome-lined) that didn’t keyhole well into the 80,000-100,000 range. I don’t know who makes or made the J&T barrels but I was so pissed that actually wasted the money on a MR556 and that’s all I got from it. I purchased two of the 14.5″ TDI knock-offs approximately 6-8 weeks ago and they have been on the line daily with ZERO issues. I only purchased them because people will come in specifically request the “416” and even they’ve never handled a weapon their entire lives, they KNOW that the top half isn’t the “416 like in COD/MW”.

Interesting about the MR556 - I guess HK "dumbs them down" (correction, "screws the buyer" - maybe they do hate us?) for civvy use? - 10K through a $4500 rifle would tick me off, and I'm not a high volume shooter.

Honestly if the nr556 barrel is only good for 10000 rounds, whats the point of buying an hk?
Home builds with top quality parts and a noveske free float barrel would be better at half the price with 3x the count on the barrel.

To say you have a hk and give fellow ninjas a tactical-bone at the range

The guy is an idiot. He should have contacted H&k and sent the barrel back because it's defective. End of story. Something he refuses to do. But complains on the what he paid. Every company produces a lemon. And something went wrong with that barrel.

Some of you guys really jump to conclusions way to fast.

Maybe...

... or maybe HK today is just a shadow of its former self.

You are right he should have sent it to HK for replacement. But would HK even do anything for him? In the past that company has been downright hostile to civilian enthusiasts...

Maybe 416's are awesome. I'll buy Colt Canada Diemaco instead.

Yah well I dont blame him, civilian customer service for HK products? lol
If they even would reply to him, it would be to tell him he wasnt firing x type of ammo, and only that ammo is allowed bs.

No. They would warranty it obviously. The barrel would be replaced in a heart beat. Lots of people get replacement fast in the US there hkUSA customer service is actually stellar. He even mentions that he spoke to the sales guys at shot show, and they laughed at him. It's really simple call hk warranty department. New barrel replaced problem solved. Lol.

I doubt he would ever get warranty service from HK as it was purchased by a commercial user for use at a rental range.

Sure they would. The barrel having being defective is grounds enough for replacement. It doesn't matter that it was being used by a rental range.
