If you bought Otter CO-OP livestock feed C.O.B. (Otter is most common brand I've seen) you bought Corn Oats Barley. Deer like it, but so do bears. And pack rats.

I have five bucks come almost up to the house everyday now to find apples off the trees. They are safe this year as I have full freezers and a steer with no home yet to butcher.

How much you want for that steer? It's not looking good for deer around here anymore.............They have just up and evaporated, haven't seen a deer in a week..............WTF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Well, Douglas has admitted he owns guns that he can NOT remember buying....soooo, maybe he just can't remember seeing the deer in the wee early morning hours....:)

... maybe that "other sh!t" is causing them to stay away? seems like a pretty abrupt change in pattern ... although something new like a 4ft high pile of "fud" might have spooked them a little.
 
Well, I had them moving down into the yard when the f**king dog, which I didn't notice laying on the deck, took after them and chased them out of the yard. It's just one thing after another it seems, it's a conspiracy to prevent me from harvesting a deer.............It's all about to change though.......I can feel it, it's the power of positive thinking..........
 
Wife sent me to the store for cigarettes, wouldn't you know it, the whole herd of 8 or so, including 3 bucks, wandered right through the yard 5 mins after I drove out of the yard..................GGGGRRRRRRRRRRRR !!!!!!!!!!!!!
