Webley 22LR Value?

Not a problem, I have a caliper to do some measurements for reloading so I should be able to get what you need.

If places are selling them for $400 then it's worth keeping. I'm itching for an Italian Beretta 92FS and working out just what I am willing to part with. No one wants to buy my sax lol.

Thanks, I'll PM you later.
Yours looks to have better overall bluing then mine which is a bit thin in a few places. It's hard to say what it's worth but there are not many around it seems....if I had to guess at an asking price for yours I'd say start around $800.00. A collector might even pay more?

Hopefully someone that's into old Webley's will post in this thread....

I certainly appreciate the positive comments. I look forward to someone that's into the old Webleys to weigh in. Selling is another matter. I probably will at some point but there is something to be said for .22LR revolvers. Cheap straight shooters.

Well, plenty for thought, and some more digging to do.

I honestly don't know what a fair market value would be. I'd guess closer to the $800 mentioned above, rather than the $400. All I can say for sure is I'm jealous.

Its actually quite a surprise to realize what Ive had all this time. I mean, Im new to the sport and hobby in terms of what I know so maybe not surprising. That is the great part about it, so much to learn, having fun just getting out to the range for some plinking, socializing and learning something new.

Looks like Im leaning to putting it on EE. Sad to see it go but maybe time to share the enjoyment too.

You need to build a Webley Revolver collection now ;)

I'm sure torn. Really like the Webley just because it is that simple but I've been slow to roll my pennies for a Beretta 92FS (Italian) and only 1/3 collected. Not like I need another pistol but...

I'm looking forward to a gun/hunting show in the local area and taking another look at the different Webleys out there. I was in Victoria BC last year and was quite impressed by the size of the show and a Webley collection out there last fall. In fact, I was impressed with the breadth of the sport in general out there.

Way off topic here but some sleepless nights while I decide to put it up on EE, stretch the CC a bit more, or just forget the whole thing.

Finishing off this post.

Good news (or bad): Ive decided to put it in EE, so watch for it soon.

Bad news (or good): I maybe deployed on short notice so that pretty much puts a damper on doing the whole transfer and mail routine. On average, how long from "I do" to approval to transfer to the new party does it take? With the new rules, its fairly straightforward to contact the CFO but is there a 'waiting period' prior to transfer?

Good to know sailor. I'm not far from you so similar geography and timing I hope. I will put it up tonight and hope I'm not deployed lol.
