Leica Geovid 8x42 HD-B lens caps

Picked up a set of these yesterday...amazing glass the the RF capability seems excellent however the lens caps are worthless. Any idea on aftermarket products for this???
 
I have had a lot of high end binos over the years and I cannot recall a single one that had great lens caps....

I have one of these cases but I think it is a tad small for these RF binos...Will investigate this. In the meantime I will remain bitter about the crappy lens caps that come on premium binos.

Yes they are a bit snug of a fit but it keeps them protected nice. I've heard of some guys throwing a set of butler flip up caps on them too.
 
I used a little lanyard from a flash drive to secure the caps to the hinge so at least I wouldn't loose the damn things.

The glass is truly incredible so I cut them some slack.

I'm also a little disappointed that you can't tune your bore to scope height in the ballistic calculator.
 
Mine have worn out once already...man they suck! To their credit, Leica has shipped me a new set for free. I guess it I spend 2k on some optics, they decide I'm worthy of a free $2.00 set of lens caps every few years. :)
