Hey I'm browsing for a folding pistol gripped stock for the Mossberg 500 -but- I'm looking for one that allows complete access to the trigger group for removal without stock disassembly. Do these exist?

Don't have any experience with a folding stock on a 500/590. I see a bunch of examples though... from experience with aftermarket/polymer/wood stocks I can tell you that most aftermarket stocks you will need to back off the stock bolt to get the trigger group out.

Best Pistol Grip would most likely be the Shockwave Raptor Grip. Great ergonomics and not much torque on the wrist, was taking on 00Buck with this one:

If you shoot from eye level, a regular PGO stock is better, I like the Hogue Tamer, if you shoot from the hip, go Shockwave.

ATI makes a top and side folding model for the Mossberg but you're probably looking a slight Dremell tool modification.

I'm not sure if there even is an aftermarket stock out there that doesn't require work to make the trigger drop free without disassembly.Even the Magpul requires some work.

I put on a used 500 wood stock on my 500 and 590 shotguns, it needed the stock bolt to be backed off a few turns for the trigger group to drop free. Had to sand a little wood off for it to work...

I put a Butler Creek side folder on mine. No machining, bolted right on no issues. Easy acces to trigger group and has a pistol grip. Shoots good.
