6.5 Grendel -- care to share opinions?

It would be swell for deer and coyotes, just unfortunately here in northern BC I haven't hunted deer in six years. As a BC cartridge, along with the .243 in the same energy class it is extremely light, so I never took it after big game. Neat and efficient little cartridge, I just wouldn't pick it for big game (don't count deer as big to be fair).
 
Thank you gentlemen. This will be the calibre of my next build. I am selling a few coveted toys to fund this build. It will be a specialized "woods loafing" rifle.
I will update once I get this show started. The action will be M98 "mini-mauser" type, or possibly a CZ527. It will have a 19" stainless medium-heavy barrel, Timney Trigger, and sitting in a lovely cut of Circassion walnut. All non-stainless parts will be colour case hardened. It will also sport iron sights, though I am not sure what I will use at this point.
 
I was looking at converting a mini 30 into 6.5 Grendel. Thought it would be a great little rifle. For hunting the cedar swamps and take the 300yd shot when I step out on the fire break.Just never got around to it. Now that you guys have brought it up again. I guess I will look at getting the going agIn.

Just buy the Mini-6.8 and call it good, exact same deal.
