Jammed Tokarev

Would anyone be kind enough to post a photo of a functioning Tokarev TT33 magazine, shown from the front?

I got a tokarev and the action jammed open on its first shot, using a mag loaded with a single round. The shot fired but it locked open, couldn't close, and I couldn't get the mag out by ejecting or pulling or pushing, and the slide stop wasn't engaged, and not the cause. I had to take it down to get it apart and to close the action. After doing that, the mag ejects and everything seems to be okay. The gun is clean and I can't find any burrs or anything it's hanging on.

Open to suggestions. Thanks.

9mm or 7.62?- I've had that happen several times with the 9mm barrel installed- it jams about half way back and you have to dismount it with the bushing and basically do a 45 colt strip- nothing wrong with the gun, just the way that barrel doesn't like 9mm roundnose- that same ammo feeds in the beretta just fine

It's 7.62. I'm a bit worried about having it jam like this with live ammo inside.

Mag follower is just sitting on top of your slide stop. Its mag deffect when they cut follower at improper angle or it is bent. Get a thin screwdriver and pry follower off the slide stop tab and force it down. Then the slide would release and mag will drop free. replace follower or mag.
