Great stuff on the painting fellas, since I'm painting challenged can someone tell me how many cans to buy, in other words will a can do the stock one or two coats.
I went to CT this am and browsed through the Krylon aisle and left even more confused.
Any suggestions are immensly appreciated...
Yep, sort of what I was thinking, these are turning out nice! Maybe I will paint flames on mine!I just got back from getting some paint. Picked up black webbing paint at Michaels's. If the weren't the only ones with it, I would have left it. 10 bucks for the little can. The thing that floored me was the prices of the other krypton paints. Michael's is absolutely crazy. Went to CT and bought camo tan and olive green. Going to do the vanguard in olive with webbing I think.Have a couple other stocks to do as well. One in tan and webbed and the other to be determined.

I like this alot! Should give it a nice tactical feel with great texture. Just make sure you cut along the edge of that masking tape to cut the paint, or else it could start to peel as you remove the tape. I just removed my butt pad with two screws.

I get the feeling we gonna see a ton of these on the EE soon enough.
Not if they shoot as well as mine, that alone makes my 243 a keeper, especially considering the monetary investment..
With Michael's you should use the weekly coupon of either 40% or 50% off one item, which usually brings their outrageous prices back to normal for that one item.
Too bad our $$ is in the ####ter..... I'd be into one of these mag conversions.
